"The Dragon" Tatsumi Fujinami and Keji "The Great Muta" Mutoh are both icons of Japanese wrestling.

Both men have won the G1 Climax tournament, both have headlined the January 4th show in the Tokyo Dome, and they have ten reigns with the IWGP Heavyweight Championship between them.

Also on their lists of accolades are reigns with the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Fujinami defeated Ric Flair for the ten pounds of gold in March 1991. This title change occurred just two weeks after Fujinami beat Riki Chosu to begin his fourth reign as IWGP Champion. The two belts were even defended together before Fujinami lost the NWA title back to Flair in May.

As for The Great Muta, he won his NWA Championship in the main event of "Fantastic Story in Tokyo Dome" - an event that would go on to become WrestleKingdom. He took on champion, Masahiro Chono, in a match that was also for Muta's IWGP Championship. Keji picked up the win and left the Dome that night with both belts.

Two legendary championships, two legendary wrestlers, two reigns where they all came together.

Talk about poetic.
