10 Wrestlers Who Will Be Back In WWE NXT Eventually

Along with Maxine/Catrina, Ivelisse Velez has had quite the career for herself in Lucha Underground for the past three years. The promotion isn't shy in allowing the men to often mix it up with the women, and while that can create unrealistic scenarios at times, Ivelisse has held her own against her male counterparts.

Additionally, she has amounted to amazing success in Lucha Underground, winning the Trios Championship on multiple occasions and contesting a number of memorable matchups. Beyond her pending match with Catrina at Ultima Lucha 3, however, there isn't much left for her to achieve there.

Moreover, the future of Lucha Underground is unknown with a fourth season not yet confirmed. That said, NXT would be a logical next step for Ivelisse, who was once a part of the brand for a short period of time in 2012. She was released from her contract for undisclosed reasons that August (though Bill DeMott was rumored to play a factor in her departure), leaving fans to wonder what might have been with her (and without him) around.

Of course, it's too late for her to enter the upcoming Mae Young Classic, but she could be a valuable asset to NXT's Women's division at this point in time.
