10 Wrestlers Who Will Be Back In WWE NXT Eventually

6. CJ Parker

CJ Parker was one of NXT's many pet projects that officials quickly lost interest in.

The powers that be were reportedly quite high on Parker prior to his re-debut in late 2013, but his hippie character (that was never properly fleshed out) didn't get over as initially planned. Instead, fans rejected him, and even after he turned heel in 2014, which was for the better, it was apparent he would forever be NXT's resident jobber.

After losing to the likes of Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens and Alex Riley, Parker literally called it quits and left NXT in April 2015. However, he did so on good terms, and he has said before that the door is open for him to come back in the future. Surely neither him or NXT have forgotten that because there's a chance we could see him resurface eventually given his recent resurgence on the Japanese wrestling scene.

In New Japan Pro Wrestling, the rechristened Juice Robinson has been a fixture of the company's midcard division and has showcased his skills in matches with Tetsuya Naito, Katsuyori Shibata and Cody. He likely won't ever be NXT champion material, but his work in the Land of the Rising Sun has proven there is much more to him than a one-dimensional environmentalist gimmick.
