Danny Burch may not be as notable of a name as others previously featured on this list, but it is all but confirmed he will be a member of the NXT roster again very, very soon.

For years, Burch was utilized as an enhancement talent in NXT, never winning a single televised match before being released in April 2014. His departure didn't come as a shocker to anyone because it was evident he would never be pushed, nor was he anything special in the ring. However, it did lead to Burch becoming more motivated as a competitor and getting into incredible physical shape.

By the next time NXT viewers saw him two years later, he was an entirely different wrestler. He was brought back on occasion to put over up-and-coming talent, but it wasn't until the United Kingdom Championship Tournament at the onset of 2017 that he was finally focused on and received an emotional video package that documented his desire to return to WWE.

Despite losing in fluky fashion to Jordan Devlin that night, he won over the audience in defeat. He's been spotted a number of times on NXT TV this year, and although his participation in the upcoming U.K. show on the WWE Network has not yet been confirmed, expect to see much more of Burch in NXT going forward.
