10 Wrestlers Who Will Be WWE Champion By The Next US Election
7. Adam Cole
Over the years WWE have managed to make such a mess of bringing former NXT Champions up to the main roster that any big NXT callup is now treated with little other than trepidation. Finn Bálor, Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe all seemed nailed on to have illustrious main roster careers. Combined, however, they have spent just one day as World Champions in WWE.
Yet even with all that fear, it still feels certain that Adam Cole will win the WWE Championship one day.
Cole has everything that one needs to succeed as a top star in WWE these days. He has a great gimmick but one that isn't too flashy and therefore difficult for the casual main roster crowd to get behind, he can put on phenomenal matches with everyone he faces, and he possesses outrageous levels of charisma.
His run as the longest-reigning NXT Champion in history shows the immense faith WWE have in him to succeed, and only injuries seem like a likely reason for him not to win the top prize in WWE at least once in the next few years.
