10 Wrestlers Who Will Be WWE Champion By The Next US Election
8. Karrion Kross
There's no denying that WWE sees a huge amount of potential in the pairing of Karrion Kross and Scarlett. After several disputes with management, Kross was granted his release from TNA last year and WWE quickly snapped up the 6'4" monster and proceeded to push him to the moon.
Arriving after a series of ominous promos Kross was made to look stronger than any NXT debutant in recent memory. After squashing NXT legend Tommaso Ciampa at TakeOver: In Your House, Kross defeated Keith Lee for the NXT Championship at TakeOver XXX in just his seventh match for the company. To put it simply, you don't have a rise like that unless higher-ups backstage think you have serious potential to lead the brand going forward.
While a separated shoulder has prevented Doomsday from building on his early success, he looks set to return to action fairly soon. Given his dominance over the NXT brand so far, don't be surprised to see Kross pushed up to the main-roster and given a run with the company's top prize.
