4. Santana & Ortiz
Love them or hate them, Santana and Ortiz were great choices to bring under the AEW banner last year, and absolutely must remain with the company at all costs.
With 15 championship runs already behind them, Proud and Powerful have largely been background characters in the Chris Jericho show. Filling the roles of hired heavies in Y2J's Inner Circle faction, Santana and Ortiz have both benefited by being featured prominently on television and PPV despite never really having the chance to show the world what they are made of.
When AEW pulls the trigger on an Inner Circle split, and allows Santana and Ortiz to go their own way, it will become very clear as to why they're a part of this list, and why they should be cornerstones of the companies tag team division moving forward. As heels they can be dangerous and controversial, posing a very real threat to any number of babyface teams. Switch them babyface and they could put on classics with the likes of FTR. Pair them with Eddie Kingston though and, well, then you have magic.
