10 Wrestlers Who Will Never Be WWE Champion Again

1. Randy Orton

Kevin Owens Universal Champion

Randy Orton to never win a world championship in WWE again? Madness, madness! The Viper has 14 world titles to his name and still competes at a high level, week after week after week. Orton's longevity is impressive, to say the least, although much of that might come down to a more considered style between the ropes. Still, Orton has plenty of years left in him yet.

He doesn't have plenty of world titles left in him though. In fact, let's put that number at 'zero'. Yes, Orton picked up another WWE Championship in 2020 when he defeated Drew McIntyre, but that was a little bit of a surprise in its own right. It derailed McIntyre and ended up being little more than a shotgun reign in the hope of generating interest. This won't happen again.

Orton's defeat to Lashley on this week's episode of WWE RAW won't be his last shot at a top-tier title ever again, but it may well be the closest he gets to the richest prize in the game. A first ballot Hall of Famer, Randy Orton will just have to make do with his 14 previous world title reigns and a career the envy of a generation. Tough times for Randall, clearly.
