10 Wrestlers Who Will Never Work For WWE Again (And Why)
7. Bill Goldberg
Even though he's been repeatedly linked with a return to the promotion, Bill Goldberg has waved off suggestions that he make a WWE comeback. In fact, it's not just that Goldberg isn't interested, the man actually regrets ever signing on with the promotion in the first place. A huge star in WCW, emerging in 1997, Goldberg was one of the group's few home-grown stars. Sitting it out and collecting on his WCW contract after the organisation fell apart, Goldberh later agreed to a WWE contract in the Spring of 2003. A memorable debut followed, and fans wet nuts to see him destroy The Rock on Raw, but that was the main highlight of his year long run with the company. Since leaving, Goldberg has stated that WWE didn't know what to do with him, and booked him poorly. Due to physical similarities, and chants of Bill's name from WWE fans, Goldberg has long been linked with a return to face Ryback. Putting it plainly, the former World Heavyweight Champion is simply not interested. Even though he has talked about perhaps wrestling again, Goldberg has ruled out WWE as the place to make an in-ring comeback.
