Impact’s Knockouts division has been dominated of late by the endgame of Mickie James’ career. Quite right too - James is an all-time great in Impact and beyond, and the run she’s on has been a blast, culminating with her taking the title at Hard To Kill.
This is a retirement run, though, and when it comes to an end, Impact is very much Jordynne Grace’s house. The 26 year old has already packed a great deal into a short career, and 2023 ought to cement her status as one of the brightest stars in the business.
Impact has been on good form of late, even if the viewership isn’t exactly great. Grace, though, feels like the type of talent who might fly the nest before too long, and she feels like a performer who’d be a perfect fit for WWE. She has charisma, workrate, and youth on her side, not to mention a physical profile none of WWE’s women can boast.
Whatever happens, Grace’s stock is almost guaranteed to rise over the next 12 months.
