10 Wrestlers Who WILL Retire In 2023
8. Edge
Edge's miraculous second run has seen the 'Rated-R Superstar' have some of his best matches, even if he has not quite been able to produce the same level of character work he used to in his prime. After a few years back, the 'Ultimate Opportunist' could be satisfied with ending his career on his own terms in 2023.
It may be hard for fans to accept the legend leaving the ring once again but the circumstances of his second retirement would be much different given that he has been able to finish up performing when he wants to, not because of a devastating injury. It also means he can have an exceptional year to cap off his second run the right way and put over other talents on the way out.
Edge has already forayed into the acting world, which could be a great avenue for the Canadian to explore post-wrestling if he chooses to do so. It is also likely that if he remains in good shape that his retirement may end up being a semi-permanent one and he could return for sporadic appearances at special events.
