10 Wrestlers Who Would Have Made Better Managers

7. Cameron

Having been released earlier this year, Cameron’s of course no longer with the company, and I feel like that’s partly a result of her lack of experience and knowledge of the business.

Case in point; on season five of Tough Enough, she infamously claimed that Melina vs Alicia Fox was her favourite match of all time. While later on once she’d made in to the main roster, she tried to score a pinfall with her opponent laying on her front…

Again, though, this isn’t “Have A Dig At Cameron Day,” because during her brief stint as one of Brodus Clay’s backing dancers, she filled her role pretty perfectly. Playing to something that was clearly a strength, against all odds she managed to help get over the gimmick of a disco-dancing, 375lb monster.

So based on the fact that it worked first time out, there was nothing stopping the WWE from reverting Cameron to her former role instead of letting her go. There, she could have learned from some of the best, built up a decent understanding of the profession, and ultimately stepped out into her own spotlight to become a manager on her own.

That of course now looks rather unlikely, what with her no longer being a WWE employee and all.
