10 Wrestlers Whose Entrances Were Better Than Their Matches
1. The Fiend
Bray Wyatt debuted The Fiend character at SummerSlam 2019 and it was a phenomenal introduction.
The Fiend’s entrance began with the Firefly Fun House music coming to a sudden stop, with the lights going out in the arena and a takeover then happened, with the words “Let Him In” appearing on the screen. He then made his way to the ring carrying a lantern of Bray Wyatt’s head as the creepy "Let Me In" by CFO$/Code Orange played throughout. Wyatt with The Fiend looked like a John Carpenter creation come to life. It was a spectacular entrance for a spectacular character.
Only issue is The Fiend isn’t known for having the greatest matches in the world. His Hell In A Cell with Seth Rollins is infamous for being an overbooked calamity. His match with Goldberg at Super ShowDown where The Fiend lost the Universal title was dreadful. His Falls Count Anywhere match with Braun Strowman was a 12-minute bore. It took performers like Daniel Bryan and Finn Balor to get good outings from The Fiend.
The Fiend thrives in concept matches like the Firefly Fun House at WrestleMania 36 with John Cena. He just usually doesn’t in the squared circle.
