10 Wrestlers Whose Entrances Were Better Than Their Matches

5. Robert Roode

It must be said beforehand that Robert Roode is a fantastic wrestler. In no way does this pertain to when he competed in TNA as Bobby Roode where he had fantastic encounters with Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle and James Storm to name a few. He’s deservingly accomplished too, being the longest reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion as well as capturing the NXT Championship in 2017. He’s continuously gotten gimmicks over that were never meant to work or be as successful as they ended up becoming like his Beer Money, Inc. tag team with James Storm.

With all that said, on WWE’s main roster, whether it’s Raw or SmackDown!, Roode can’t come close to how over his ‘Glorious Domination’ theme (that was originally meant for Shinsuke Nakamura) is. Sure, WWE’s watered it down since he arrived on the main roster through overexposure and severe lack of a decent push, but it’s still a wonderful sight to behold. It has the entire crowd singing in unison and makes Roode look every bit the big-time attraction he is. His entrance highlights include NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II when he came out on a raised platform for all at the Barclays Center to witness how glorious he was or NXT TakeOver: Toronto when he came out with a choir accompanying him.

It’s a sad situation WWE can’t give Roode a storyline/push that would warrant WWE fans to get more excited for him and his matches than his entrance.
