10 Wrestlers Whose Stock Has Dropped The Most Since WWE WrestleMania 37
8. Asuka
Through no fault of her own, Asuka has experienced a rather sh*tty 12-months within her home of seven years.
But things appeared to be going rather swimmingly for one of the true stars of the often depressingly drab ThunderDome era coming into 'Mania 37. Not only was The Empress of Tomorrow holding onto the Raw Women's Championship and enjoying a reign that had seen her beat the likes of Sasha Banks, Zelina Vega, Lana, and a whole host of other stars on the red brand, but Asuka would also be defending her title against one of the company's hottest upcoming talents in Rhea Ripley.
Sure, the champ may not have defended the belt as much as she would've liked, but her losing battle against The Nightmare was still an exciting addition to the bumper 'Mania card and helped put over Ripley as a genuine name to be watched on the main roster stage.
And while another enjoyable title match followed against Ripley and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania Backlash, Asuka would soon find herself slipping back down the card before disappearing entirely post-Money in the Bank as she took some time off to get over her injury troubles.
All hype surrounding her impending return appears to have fizzled out in recent times too, highlighting just how much her star has faded since acting as Ripley's major obstacle last April.
