Another wrestler who never officially feuded with Cena, but who’s time as a major WWE player came to an end through his involvement with the multi-time champion.

Sandow was a hot ticket in 2013. His “Intellectual Saviour of the Masses” gimmick was hugely over with the crowd, and after capturing the Money in the Bank briefcase, it looked like Sandow was on his way to becoming the superstar that his heat warranted.

A great heel with electric charisma, Sandow’s career took a big downturn after winning MITB. After toppling his former tag team partner Cody Rhodes to retain possession of the briefcase, Sandow cashed-in on Cena that October, and look a loss in what will be remembered as one of the limpest MITB cash-ins of all-time.

His career lost all direction from there. Sandow embarked upon a long, slow, slide down the card, leading-up to his eventual release earlier this year. But hey, it’s not all doom and gloom! You can catch him wrestling for our very own WCPW on July 27th/28th (cheap pop).
