The man credited with inventing the Money in the Bank ladder match, Chris Jericho is that guy in World Wrestling Entertainment history who has done everything, been in everything, been though everything and proudly owns the t-shirt, albeit not a shirt that he wears as it clashes with his scarf and vest combo.

Jericho has taken part in four Money in the Bank matches without succeeding a single time, but he has had far more success with ladders outside of chasing a briefcase. In fact, Chris Jericho has a 100% success rate when it comes to singles ladders matches in WWE, beating Shawn Michaels, Christian and Chris Benoit respectively. Y2J has also taken part in three TLC matches, although he has only been successful on one occasion there.

Jericho is scheduled to battle with six other men for the Money in the Bank briefcase on June 19th, and is likely to have a huge experience advantage over those men when it comes to WWE and ladders. Does this count for anything? Probably not.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
