In one way, Dolph Ziggler's record in ladder matches in World Wrestling Entertainment is indicative of his wider record in the company as a whole, Dolph has taken part in 10 ladder matches over the years, with five Money in the Bank appearances included amongst them. He is a past winner of the Money in the Bank briefcase too, clambering over Tensai and up the ladder to pick up the blue case back in 2012.

Overall, Dolph's record reads 'Played 10, Won Four, Lost Six'. And that sort of sums his role up. He's done well, experienced a decent amount of success, but most likely underachieved along the way. His singles ladder matches have seen him undefeated, with John Cena and Luke Harper being defeated, and he also overcame Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger in a triple threat ladder match way back in 2010.

Stick Dolph in a multi-man match however, and the likelihood is he's coming up short. His one Money in the Bank victory sits alongside four unsuccessful attempts to grab the briefcase, and he's also come up short in his two WrestleMania Intercontinental Championship ladder match appearances.

Here lies Dolph Ziggler: He did alright.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
