10 Wrestlers WWE Don't Know What To Do With

5. Andrade Almas

Everyone, including this writer, would like to believe that WWE have a dedicated plan for every wrestler they call up from NXT to the main roster. In theory, they should, otherwise there'd be no point in promoting stars to Raw or SmackDown in the first place.

The current plight of Andrade Almas suggests things are a little less organised.

After being drafted to the blue brand on 17 April, Almas and his mouthpiece Zelina Vega sat on the sidelines for four weeks before WWE were good and ready to debut them on the 15 May episode. Since then, the pair have done little other than cut promos or run through a few local jobbers with ease.

In the 10 episodes of SmackDown that have occurred since Almas was drafted, he's wrestled only twice and his handler Vega barks about better competition. That, unfortunately, is a clear stalling tactic whilst WWE figure out what they want to do with someone who was endlessly more useful on NXT.
