Ask anyone from the 1990s to draw an ideal "WWF Superstar", and they'd probably sketch someone that looked like big Bryan Clark. The dude had God-given muscles for days, and that was handy in an era particularly sensitive to the steroid trial fallout. Clark was introduced in '93 as Adam Bomb.

He was...the survivor of the Three Mile Island nuclear meltdown accident. Yep. Adam had a green tongue just to hammer home the point. It was cartoony, sure, but that shouldn't have been a major problem in the mid-90s. Unfortunately, Bomb didn't work out as a heel or babyface.

A lengthy stint in WCW as Wrath and under his real name seasoned Clark. That's why Vince McMahon was keen to rehire him post-WCW acquisition in 2001, but it was another disaster. Bryan, alongside KroniK partner Brian Adams, worked an infamously terrible match vs. The Undertaker and Kane at Unforgiven 2001 and that was very much that.

Clark once seemed like a top prospect too.
