10 Wrestlers WWE Dropped The Ball On TWICE
6. Shane Douglas
One Shane Douglas could be forgiven for asking the, "What might've been?" question himself. He worked two stints in the WWF that ranged from mediocre to downright dreadful, and he'd never get that elusive third chance following WCW's demise at the turn of the millennium.
It's kinda weird to look back on Shane's 1990-1991 run in the fed now - it's like watching two distinctly different eras clash by seeing ECW's future 'Franchise' working as a happy-go-lucky, smiling young babyface. Douglas didn't last long here, and ended up being volleyed sideways over to WCW.
Things would surely be better when Shane returned as Dean Douglas in 1995, right? Not really. In fact, things got worse for him. He clashed with members of the 'Kliq' behind the scenes, and stuck out like a sore thumb in the WWF locker room at the time.
Douglas must be considered one of the best all-around workers to never make it in the WWF/WWE.
