10 Wrestlers WWE Dropped The Ball On TWICE
3. Karrion Kross
Admittedly, there's time for this to change if everyone gets their act together.
Some might disagree, but this writer thought Karrion Kross was a breath of fresh air during his run on NXT. He worked squashes with the intensity required to make that sort of thing work, then slid neatly into lengthier bouts against the brand's heavy hitters. Plus, his dark, twisted gimmick seemed perfect for WWE's main roster.
It was alarming then to see Vinnie Mac totally botch Kross' in 2021. His revised look was woeful, and Karrion looked humiliated as fans around ringside openly laughed at this Shredder-meets-Mad Max wannabe. Then, to top it all off, Kross was released in November.
Triple H brought him back amidst much fanfare in the summer of 2022, but things have yet to click into place for Karrion. He has Scarlett back by his side on TV, but WWE appears content to fudge his potential all over again.
Fingers crossed things pan out long-term.
