10 Wrestlers WWE Fans Most Want To Win A World Title

I love Johnny Gargano. This man has been busting out 5 star matches all year long and has shown why he’s one of the best wrestlers on the planet by stealing the show at every Takeover. His feud with Tomasso Ciampa (who is also brilliant) was some of the best storytelling WWE has given us in years.

Despite not getting to see the final match between the pair, due to Tomasso Ciampa sustaining a career threatening neck injury, Gargano still put on pure gold when he instead faced Adam Cole at Takeover: New York. It was a match that Dave Meltzer called, “The best match WWE has ever produced.” And when Gargano wiped out the Undisputed Era and subsequently pinned Adam Cole for the win fans absolutely lost their minds. I personally went absolutely nuts in my living room.

Still with Tomasso Ciampa going through rehab and looking for a return one can’t help but think, “How awesome would it be if their final match was for the WWE or Universal title at Wrestlemania.” It would be a fitting end to one of the best feuds in WWE’s history and a historical moment for two men who deserve it.

It’s unfortunate that currently no one wants to see Gargano called up because Vince will surely bury him for his size. But, If Vince uses Gargano to even half of his proven potential then there’s no doubt in my mind that fans will one day see him as WWE or Universal champion.
