10 Wrestlers WWE Has Given Up On

1. Cesaro

It was 2015 when Vince McMahon sat down with Steve Austin on WWE Network and outright said that he didn't view Cesaro as a draw. Seven years on, the Swiss wrasslin' machine is still on company books and still working tremendous matches when he's given time to.

That's really key, 'cause Cesaro is wasted when he's teaming with Mansoor in short efforts (like he did on SmackDown recently) or expected to be some promo king. Speaking isn't his key strength, so it's maddening that WWE keep trying to force that side of things; Cesaro isn't awful on the mic either, by the way, but he's never going to be John Cena.

It does suck, however, that Cesaro has gone from working opposite Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in hot matches to teaming with Mansoor as a tossed-together tag. What's that all about, and what was the point in him excelling like he did vs. Reigns if this was gonna be his fate?
