10 Wrestlers WWE Has Given Up On

2. Jinder Mahal

2017: Jinder Mahal shocks everyone by becoming WWE Champion and embarking on a 170-day reign that nobody could've predicted. His push came out of nowhere like a Randy Orton RKO, which is fitting - Randy was the man Jinder beat to win the big one.

2022: Jinder teams with his big mate Shanky and the pair occasionally rap like a pair of goofs for no real reason whatsoever. Also, this comes hot on the heels of Mahal looking second-rate next to old 3MB buddy Drew McIntyre back at SummerSlam 2021.

What a contrast, one that proves how far Jinder has fallen down the importance scale since receiving the biggest push of his entire career. Injuries have plagued him, no doubt, but WWE don't seem to view Mahal as anything other than a lower-card act these days anyway.

They've given up on presenting him as a serious threat to...well, anybody. He raps, he loses and he rants. That's it.
