Following AJ Lee's retirement, Nikki Bella's neck injury and Brie Bella being Brie Bella, Paige is the only remaining Diva from WrestleMania 31's tag team match that anybody cares about. In fact, the WWE Universe absolutely adores her. With that in mind, it would surely make sense to have Paige at the forefront of the Divas division going into the biggest event of the year. Instead, Paige has spent the last three months making sporadic appearances and trading wins and losses in WWE's efforts to promote Total Divas. In hindsight, the Divas Revolution angle looks like little more than an attempt to weed out the existing talent and replace them with new performers. Even so, Paige came out the other side with her popularity in tact. Nevertheless, you can't fight the system and the WWE machine is clearly backing Charlotte as the company's top heel instead of the woman the majority of people actually want to see.
