10 Wrestlers WWE Have Given Up On In 2020

Last Win: 28 February (SmackDown)

An exuberant Royal Rumble return saw Naomi blast back onto television for the first time in six months, attracting genuine attention outside the usual wrestling media sphere for her eye-catching run. She was never winning the over-the-top-rope battle royal, of course, but she came out of it looking strong, having stuck around for over 22 minutes.

The former SmackDown Women's Champion's fortunes have wavered since then. She flirted with title contention in February but the blow-off was a flat Saudi Arabian two-star special with Bayley at Super ShowDown 2020, and little else. Show has now gone winless since beating WWE's 'Role Model' via disqualification on the following night's SmackDown. Her latest appearance was a sub-two-minute pseudo-squash defeat to Dana Brooke in mid-May.

Naomi may never be the most refined wrestler in her division, though WWE has demonstrably given up on whatever faith they had in her at the start of the year. The short Women's Title program suggested she'd at least be a midcard fixture. Instead, she's not even that
