10 Wrestlers WWE Loved Burying Over & Over
8. Mickie James
Be a star! Unless you are WWE and you want to brutally poke fun at one of your top performers purely because you feel like it. This has to be one of the worst moments in WWE in regards to their hypocrisy. Mickie James was treated with absolutely no dignity or respect during her storyline with LayCool as they lambasted her with fat-shaming slurs.
There would be no situation in which this was okay. To start with, she did not even fit the accusations that were thrown at her. WWE may have high standards in regards to physique, but it never made sense with Mickie as she was in great physical shape. Additionally, the nature of the taunting was so extreme that it was unsettling.
But this wasn't the only time that WWE buried James. Even though she is one of the female divisions most decorated stars, from a time when women were still considered a sideshow, Mickie always seemed to be embarrassed on TV.
They aired her dirty laundry with Cena, made her the victim of bullying, gave no effort to give her validity in her return.
WWE seems not to understand that she helped to legitimise the division that they have poured a lot of effort into, and even though she has been doing better lately, it's not enough to justify what they have put her through.
