10 Wrestlers WWE Made You Hate (Thanks To Awful Booking)

8. Big Show

Though Big Show is easy to tolerate in his current role as a part-time veteran who exists only to put younger, hungrier talents over, this hasn't been the case for much of the past decade. WWE have regularly tried to push him as a legitimate threat despite his clear decline in ability throughout this period, and while Show used to be a genuine star attraction, those days are long behind him.

Famously taunted with "please retire" chants in 2015, Show has been thrust into a number of prominent positions over the past few years. He inexplicably became World Heavyweight Champion in 2012, several years after his prime, and partook in the dreadful Authority angle that plagued WWE television from 2013 to 2015, with fans expected to buy into him as a credible enforcer.

Show's last big moment came at WrestleMania 31, when he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in place of a younger wrestler, though he has been used only sparingly since then. Regardless, he just keeps showing up every now and then. Sometimes it works (his brief rivalry with Braun Strowman), and sometimes it doesn't (the current Big Cass story): either way, his critics cringe every time.
