10 Wrestlers WWE Must Sign Before 2017 Ends

9. Veda Scott

No, Veda Scott probably isn’t going to deliver 5-star classic match with Charlotte. But that isn't what this pick about! While the women's division has come a long way over the past couple years, one thing they're lacking is a manager. James Ellsworth does not count.

Veda has already proven she’s up for the role, as she did entertaining work with Moose in ROH. The company could bring in a new wrestler like Jade and pair them together. They could also take a main roster talent like Nia Jax or Tamina, whose mic skills are a bit suspect, and pair them with Scott who is much more confident on the mic.

A potentially interesting role would also be to give her a stable of wrestlers to create a Dangerous Alliance type act for the women's division. It would be far more entertaining than The Welcoming Committee. And when the time comes, Veda can get in the ring and mix it up with a babyface who has been chasing her for months.

In the past, we've seen Miss Elizabeth, Sunny, Terri Runnels, Sable and many other women work as a managers/valets for a male talent. It seems a bit strange that by 2017 we haven't had a full-on woman manager whose main purpose is to guide another woman into battle. This should be the year and Veda should lead the charge.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
