10 Wrestlers WWE Must Sign Before 2018 Ends

2. Will Ospreay

It may sound strange to say, but Will Ospreay becoming a WWE star isn't solely dependent on the McMahon family's interest in the "Aerial Assassin". No: Ospreay has a decision to make himself, because he's tearing it up independently and making a healthy profit on his own.

Right now, the question isn't so much why Ospreay should ink a WWE deal, it's more what WWE can offer Will that would turn his head.

Speaking of which, turning heads is exactly what Ospreay does every single time he enters a wrestling ring, without exception. Some have been highly critical of his spot-heavy style, but it's important to remember that he's still only 25 years old. There's a lot of time to insert a little more psychology and put the brakes on occasionally so Will doesn't burn out physically, and it's not as though his current approach is worrying.

It's why he is where he is.

Perhaps Ospreay's move to WWE could be summed up by offering one opponent: Ricochet. That pair have been indelibly linked for years due to their tremendous chemistry and similar ring style. Seeing them light up a WWE ring, hopefully on the main roster, would be awesome.
