10 Wrestlers WWE Must Sign Before 2018 Ends

1. Jay Lethal

It's an absolute travesty that Jay Lethal, one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet, hasn't had a meaty run in WWE. Ask the man about that in interviews and he's likely to roll his eyes and plainly state that he doesn't need the company to enjoy his work.

Whilst that's true, the longest-reigning ROH TV Champion in history does deserve a golden opportunity to make some serious cash as he rolls into his mid-30s.

At 33, Lethal can look back on a body of work that includes Ring Of Honor title epics, hilarious parodies of legends like Randy Savage and Ric Flair, a celebrated run on the indy scene and countless great matches against everyone from CM Punk to Kurt Angle.

All of those achievements are noteworthy, and they'd be enhanced by a killer WWE run. NXT would be the best place for Lethal too. There, he'd be able to show off what WWE have been missing for years, work against the likes of Aleister Black, Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano and maybe even bust out the occasional "Macho Man" impression.

Or would that be a bit too much madness?
