10 Wrestlers WWE Must Sign Before 2018 Ends

They're not alone, and it's about bloody time WWE took a punt on 31-year old Brit Nick Aldis.

The impact working with Doug Williams as part of The British Invasion tag-team in TNA has had on Aldis is clear for all to see. Those awkward early appearances as Brutus Magnus have given way to a more confident wrestler who carries himself like a superstar.

Why that hasn't translated into a WWE contract is baffling. Aldis has experience, size and a growing portfolio due to his NWA World Heavyweight Title reign and involvement in the All In show later this year. After that, WWE should really think about nabbing him, if only to become a focal point of the UK division.

Aldis is a superb public speaker who would handle the gig well. He possesses one of those easy-to-understand English accents (similar to Wade Barrett, come to think of it) that comes across as sophisticated without sounding too twee. Further, he has shown a keen sense of entrepreneurship by launching his own "Superstar Body" book a few years ago and has media experience.

Aldis, if used correctly, could be the UK division's crown jewel.
