The tag-team scene on Monday Night Raw is rather pathetic these days. The reigning Raw Tag Champs are a cobbled-together comedy act (it's only a matter of time before WWE get bored of the "Deleter Of Worlds" dynamic) and the rest of the division is filled with low-level duos like The B-Team, Breezango and Titus Worldwide.

A saviour is needed then, and The Motor City Machine Guns are the perfect tonic.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin reunited their team in 2016 and instantly rekindled the chemistry they'd enjoyed for years in TNA and Ring Of Honor. There's a nice aesthetic to the Guns that makes them come across like a true tag-team, as opposed to the thrown-together nature of some WWE units creative has nothing for individually.

Looking like a modern-day version of The Rockers, Shelley and Sabin have that underdog feel that will never fail to work in wrestling. They gel in-ring, have a great look and possess the flashy ring style that's ideal for WWE's tag division. They deserve a chance.
