When rumblings began that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were coming to WWE, the excitement was palpable. After all, they had made a massive impact in New Japan Pro Wrestling, and the prospect of them teaming up with AJ Styles in a Bullet Club-style reunion was one that had fans on the edge of their seats. Well, it happened, and...it was fine.

After being torn away from Styles in the WWE Draft, Gallows and Anderson weren't really given the chance to do much, and found themselves with a gimmick that saw them dubbing everyone "Nerds."

It sucked, but an eventual reunion with The Phenomenal One and the formation of The Club definitely helped, and WWE even named them the best tag team in the world! Unfortunately, it was still hard to escape the feeling that they weren't being used overly well, and many audience members had clearly lost faith in this duo by then.

Something tells us that Gallows and Anderson will be heading straight back to Japan as soon as possible, and when they're back to being among NJPW's top stars, perhaps WWE will realise that they really have lost one of the greatest tag teams in the world today (along with The Revival, of course).
