10 Wrestlers You Didn't Realise Wrestled For WWE In 1997

1. Paul Roma

It had been nearly three years since his ignominious firing from WCW, and a shade under five years since Roma was infamously inducted into The Four Horsemen. Roma had wrestled his last WWF match in 1991 alongside Hercules as part of Power and Glory, but sprung up on the December 30, 1997 Raw tapings for one last shot at the big time.

Roma worked two dark matches, a singles win over mid-nineties prelim Nick Barbary, and a tag team match with a student of Mr. Fuji's that worked under the name Alex Roma, presumably a kayfabe brother of "Pretty Paul". Alas, Roma wouldn't make it into 1998 with the company, and went back into semi-retirement shortly after the matches.
