The beast from the Isle of Crete went extinct from the WWF in July 1995, taking his laughable prop head with him. He would pop up in 1996 as a bodyguard for Goldust, but disappeared in short order once more. By the time Mantaur came back one last time in 1997, few realized it was even him.

Remember that Truth Commission stable from the previous entry? Mantaur worked as one third of the original trio, performing under a mask as "Tank". His partners were The Interrogator (later Kurrgan of the Human Oddities) and Recon (Bull Buchanan).

As Tank, the real life Mike Halac wasn't long for the group, being ousted before summer's end in favor of Luc "Sniper" Poirier, not that the stable held any long-term promise.
