8. A-Kid
Despite the fact that he was born in Spain, A-Kid is one of the faces of NXT UK, although it shouldn't be that shocking considering they've had both an Austrian and a Russian as their top champion.
He was the first holder of their Heritage Cup championship and continues to grow as a performer with each and every match. Saying that, he may have hit his peak early - like really early.
In 2018, when he was just 20-years-old, A-Kid faced off against Meltzer favourite Zack Sabre Jr. in his home country for a promotion called White Wolf Wrestling. The match is a proper hidden gem, brought to widespread attention when it was given the big five stars by the Observer.
Not only was A-Kid the first Spaniard to achieve this honour, he is also the youngest person ever to do it. The fact he was in the ring with such an accomplished opponent definitely helped, but A-Kid's own athleticism and skill cannot be understated.
With a long career ahead of him, expect A-Kid to add to his list of five-star matches in the future, but perhaps none will be as obscure as this encounter in Spain.
