10 Wrestlers You Didn't Know Had A 5 Star Match
6. Scott Steiner
As Steiner "bulked out" in the late 90s and early 00s, his matches became increasingly slower and less entertaining. One only has to look at the pair of matches he had with Triple H in 2003 to see this. However, before he became a one-man YouTube compilation, Steiner was part of the one of the most accomplished and acclaimed tag teams of all time.
Alongside his brother Rick, The Steiners were one of the best duos in the business in the late 80s and early 90s, becoming the first tag team in history to win championships in WWE, WCW, and NJPW. There's a reason they've just been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
In 1991, The Steiners co-headlined WCW's WrestleWar event as part of a WarGames match, teaming up with Sting and Brian Pillman to do battle with The Four Horseman and Larry Zbyszko. This was the second WarGames match that got five stars from Dave Meltzer and the first and only for Big Poppa Pump.
Younger fans of Scotty should check this match out to see what he was like before he became Freakzilla, even if it is immediately followed by their 965th viewing of Steiner Math promo.
