10 Wrestlers You Didn't Know Were Bodybuilders

2. The Great Khali

Right, time to get your jokes in now. "How could The Great Khali pose with poise when he could barely walk around the ring without stumbling?", you might ask. You'd be right to do so, but Khali was in seriously good shape before he aged a little and wrestling beat up his body.

As a young bodybuilder in his native India, Khali was the man. He won the Mr. India title in 1995 and 1996, and had chest measurements of 66 inches at the height of his training. To put that into perspective, that means his chest (if rolled out in front of you) would be 5 1/2 feet long. No wonder the guy was interested in pro wrestling. He had God-given gifts.

According to a video by Nick's Strength & Power, Khali never competed professionally. He was an amateur, albeit an impressive, successful one. Pictures of his younger days are almost freaky looking. Khali towered over the competition and had a slim, cut stomach that won't be familiar to most WWE fans.
