Nominated For: Best Supporting Actor, Best Makeup

In addition to scooping a richly-deserved Best Supporting Actor award for Martin Landau's eerily accurate portrayal of Bela Lugosi, Tim Burton's biopic of the original disaster artist Ed Wood also took away the Best Makeup accolade.

George Steele, in a rare case of an actual wrestler playing an actual wrestler, didn't need any cosmetic assistance to play Swedish bruiser Tor Johnson, a member of Wood's entourage of misfits who was his exact double.

Steele drew plaudits for his performance, but it was mostly a case of the perfect role for the perfect person; he didn't appear in another film anywhere near as high profile.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
