Evidently the biggest WWE fan currently taking up a spot on the roster, Johnny Gargano no doubt jumped at the chance to make his dreams come true back in 2007.

You'd definitely be forgiven for missing this mid-Ruthless Aggression era appearance ever being a thing, mind, given the fact Johnny Wrestling looked almost unrecognisable as MVP's "Champion of Liechtenstein" challenger on a March edition of SmackDown.

As Cedrick Von Haussen, the nephew of a person JBL supposedly bumped with one time, a geeky Gargano waved and smiled his way down to the ring before getting his head clotheslined off by the loud-mouth future Hurt Business leader.

A dominant squash followed, of course, with MVP picking up some lederhosen momentum en route to challenging for the US Title at 'Mania 23.

The eventual NXT Champion also made a few other cameo appearances before finally making a name for himself on the developmental brand, showing up as an awkward security guard on NXT in 2010, and getting battered by Brodus Clay as Joey Gray on Superstars a year later.

Dreams really do come true, eh.
