Whilst his name has been muddied by his comments on an episode of Dark Side of the Ring, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer still has a pretty impressive wrestling résumé.
The former ECW World Champion and WWE Hardcore Champion has had his fair share of memorable matches with the likes of Raven and The Sandman, but did you know that he once beat John Cena before Cena made his main roster debut?
In a previous life, John wrestled as "The Prototype". As the name suggests, this character was a half-man, half-machine wrestler who was meant to serve as an example of how all wrestlers should be.
Yep, at one time, John Cena earned his living by pretending to be a robot. Proof that everybody has to start somewhere.
Anyway, Dreamer beat Cena as The Prototype on a Raw house show just three days before the latter made his famous debut against Kurt Angle on SmackDown.
This is actually the pair's one and only singles meeting, so Dreamer actually has a 100% unbeaten record against John Cena.
