10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Beat John Cena

As the current manager of Max Caster, Billy Gunn must be getting some serious flashbacks to another rapper he once had a run-in with.

The current-day Daddy Ass came across a young John Cena on an episode of SmackDown in 2003. The match was the first round of a United States Championship tournament and Cena looked to have things all wrapped up until The Undertaker made his way to ringside.

The American Badass and The Leader of the Cenation had been at loggerheads recently, which offered enough of a distraction for Gunn to roll Cena up to advance in the tournament.

Mr. Ass had actually already beaten the Doctor of Thuganomics on a house show before this match and beat him on a few more afterwards. Equally, Cena beat Billy on some house shows, too, so the pair were pretty even at this time.

In TV continuity, Gunn was defeated in the next round of the tournament by eventual winner, Eddie Guerrero. As for Johnny Boy, he went on to fight The Undertaker at Vengeance 2003 in a match that he also lost.

So, really, nobody came out of this match looking good. Shame, that.
