John Laurinaitis does qualify as a "wrestler" despite being more famous as a motor scooter-riding on-air authority figure.

As Johnny Ace, Laurinaitis was an accomplished singles and tag team wrestler. He also invented the cutter, a wrestling move that is perhaps best known as the RKO.

Sadly, none of Johnny Ace's skills were on display when he fought John Cena in the main event of 2012's Over The Limit Pay-Per-View. This match was supposed to be a culmination of Cena's nearly year-long feud with WWE management, but it was actually closer to watching two men slowly wade towards each other through a bog.

Cena has never been the type to carry someone to a good match, especially when that someone is a 50-year-old executive. The final insult to the audience came when Big Show interfered on Laurinaitis' behalf, knocking out Cena and letting Big Johnny get the pin.

Did it matter that this was one of Big Show's 405 heel turns? Did it matter that there was a rule in place that anyone who helped Laurinaitis in this match would be fired? No, because the only thing anyone cared about was the fact that this match was over and they'd never have to see it ever again.
