10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Beat John Cena

The son of the legendary Ric Flair had plenty of high-profile moments of his own in WCW.

These included turning on his father, winning the United States Championship, and his doomed love affair with Stacy Keibler before WCW was bought out and WWE picked up David's contract.

He was sent him down to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) for further training and it was here that he ran into a young man called The Prototype.

Flair had Cena's number every single time they met. He beat him on an episode of OVW TV in February 2002 and then beat him again via DQ in a match for Prototype's OVW Heavyweight Championship.

The real humdinger came at OVW's Spring Breaker event in April 2002. Cena and Flair were on opposing sides in a tag team match at the event. John Cena was partnered up with former WCW talent, Sean O'Haire, whilst David was on the same side as his father.

This was the only time that the two 16-time World Champions have competed against each other in a match. Although, with Ric's recent return to the ring, maybe we shouldn't rule out a one-on-one clash between these two.
