Stevie Richards and Tommy Dreamer, two former Sunday Night Heat regulars, hold a one-time victory over The Next Big Thing.

Dreamer was mostly used as comedic relief for long periods of his WWE run whilst Stevie Richards was looked at as nothing more than a good hand by management. So it’s surprising they were booked to win over Brock and Randy Orton in a tag match, even when it was an untelevised event and Brock and Randy were OVW talent.

It’s amazing to look back and see Orton and Lesnar tagging together so early on in their respective careers when they were both Ohio Valley prospects. Their partnership seemingly didn’t last long as Brock would F5 Orton’s face off on SmackDown in 2002.

Either Tommy Dreamer or Stevie Richards getting a win over Brock these days seems like an impossibility. Dreamer and Lesnar clashed on house shows too and on an episode of Raw, where Tommy came to the ring wielding a kendo stick but it was no match for Lesnar who beat Dreamer senseless. Brock running through talent in 2002 was a sight to behold. No one can manhandle someone like The Conqueror Brock Lesnar.
