10 Wrestling Alliances You Completely Forgot Happened

7. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Naomi

In spite of their best efforts, WWE has promoted one of its biggest stars in recent years in the form of Becky Lynch. The Irish superstar went stratospheric in 2018, and became one of the first three women to headline WrestleMania.

Not even two years prior to that, she was languishing in an ill-defined group alongside Naomi and Charlotte Flair (arguably Lynch’s greatest rival). Watching it back now, the team was nothing short of bizarre, the three super talented stars given little to go on other than being three women who quite liked each other.

The women’s roster had a few decent heel groups at the time, the best being the oft-underrated Riott Squad, but the face team was doing nothing for anyone involved - least of all Becky Lynch, who clearly didn’t have the full support of the bookers at the time, and was often seen doing little more than cheering her pals on.

The three members of the team have tangled repeatedly and have proved without a doubt that they make better enemies than friends. When you have three stars of their calibre, keeping them from competing with one another is just crazy.
