10 Wrestling Attires You Totally Forgot Famous WWE Stars Wore
8. Shawn Michaels Striking Brown Tights
Returning from a gravely-serious back injury in the Summer of 2002, Shawn Michaels looked like he hadn't missed a step. Following a truly remarkable performance against Triple H at SummerSlam in August, HBK would eventually complete a memorable return to action by capturing the World Heavyweight Championship in the first ever Elimination Chamber match at the Survivor Series 2002 Pay-Per-View. Fans were charmed by the man's comeback story, but not so much by his horrendous choice of attire for the evening. Upon his entrance, nothing much seemed to be amiss, as Michaels was decked out in his usual array of sparkly get-up that people had come to know so well. However, once that was removed and it was time for the bout itself to take place, Shawn was standing in little more than a pair of brown tights. Instantly, it must have been a decision he regretted, especially when looking back at the tape of the match, because not only did it look dull, but fans joked that Michaels must have raided his wife's wardrobe in order to find the costume. The brown outfit would appear once or twice more, before (thankfully) being retired. From there, Shawn would move back to flashier tights, and was all the better for it.
