10 Wrestling Bouts From Other Promotions That Need Rematches In WWE

1. Brock Lesnar Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

For 25 years, New Japan's most important annual show has been their 4 January event at the Tokyo Dome. For the past 10 years the event has been called Wrestle Kingdom, but the legacy of "Japan's WrestleMania" dates back further than that name.

In 2006, the event was called Toukon Shidou Chapter 1, and IWGP Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar - who was making money after the end of his football venture but before the start of his MMA career - was set to defend his title in the main event. His opponent would be former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

Both men were talented, but Lesnar hadn't yet earned the bad-a** aura he gained after winning the UFC Heavyweight Title, while Nakamura hadn't yet found his "King of Strong Style" persona. Something didn't click, and the match was a bust - Lesnar clubbed Nakamura, Nakamura tried to lock in submissions, and that was that. After nine minutes that felt a lot longer, Lesnar hit the F5 for the win.

Today, things would be different. Lesnar is a monster who takes opponents to Suplex City before dispatching them, while Nakamura is the most charismatic superstar on the roster. Both men deserve a chance to get in the ring again, and when they do, it'll make for some special moments.
